I am wondering if there is an AWS service which is similar to the Azure AD synchronization. By Azure AD synchronization we are wanting to synch on premise AD user and groups into the cloud so that IAM can use these user and groups. We are not wanting to create an fully managed cloud based AD but just a configuration to synch users/security groups so that IAM when providing access to the AWS portal for functions like rebooting and STOP functions.
Unclear on what exactly AWS offers that is analogous to Azure offerings. As far as Azure they have a 1)fully managed AD service and 2)another service which just synch AD users/groups with IAM. Does AWS have something similar to the 2)?
