Would like to check if there is a way out in establishing a secure connection between the internet facing laptops & private instances via Open VPN?
Use case: Public Subnet with Windows bastion server
Private subnet with private ip instances.
Users have Integrated Development Environment - IDE- installed on their laptops/desktops Windows / Unix which has internet connectivity / company LAN. They will need to connect to the private instances via the IDE.
Do let me know what steps can be taken to ensure the internet facing IDE can access private instances securely?
Is OpenVPN an option & if not, any other ways to overcome the above ?
